Learning/Teaching/Training Activities
Transnational Project Meetings
By organizing different activities in non-traditional environment we expect a large cultural cooperation and involvement of schools' communities. Teaching and training courses give a European learning experience, broadens the students' understanding of the diversity of European cultures and languages. The students and the teachers working in this project will get to know each other better, and they will develop strong links among the different countries and cultures involved in the project. Cooperation and collaboration among the different European partners will be developed through the different learning, teaching, and training activities, that at the same time, will ensure equity and inclusion. They will promote the participation of disadvantaged groups and they will also help to prevent early school leaving. While practicing the project members usually have an opportunity to work in teams and be close to the professionals who help to focus, analyze, watch, draw conclusions on the activities which are related to involving students into active participation in all non-traditional trainings. This will create long lasting friendship which will naturally develop positive attitudes towards unknown or less travelled territories, will foster tolerance and understanding, will break down barriers created artificially by prejudices and stereotypes. The students competence in foreign language will improve, they will be aware of a social, linguistic and cultural diversity and they will develop an active participation in our European society. Our students working in this project will also become aware of the current environmental problems and the urgence of changing our bad habits. They will get in contact with the job market, spending some weekly training at firms dealing with “renewable energies” , getting prepared for the implementation of the principles of sustainable development and rational management of natural resources in their schools an in their personal lives. In addition, the right European recognition tools will be used to validate and qualify the student competences. By sharing their teaching and coaching competence and learning from the experiences of their peers in other European countries, teachers and students will have a chance to improve theirs ITC, language skills and cultural abilities and learn how to apply them in European context. As knowledge and experience gained from the project grow and are going to be shared within the lager community outside the school, which will hopefully result in future opportunities for mutual exchanges and the raising of competence in many other areas.
